Must be currently certified as a law enforcement officer by the Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Board (LESB); or eligible for immediate recertification through the State of Wisconsin Department of Justice reciprocity.

-If you meet one of the special requirements above, you must clearly state on both your letter of qualification and also your resume that you have one of the qualifications above, listing which one you meet, providing dates, employer, etc. that support how you meet the special requirements.
-If you do not clearly state how you meet this special requirement in both your letter of qualification and your resume as directed, then you may be deemed not eligible and we will not evaluate your materials further.
Minimum qualified applicants will meet each of the following:
1.Must be currently certified as a law enforcement officer by the Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Board (LESB); or eligible for immediate recertification through the State of Wisconsin Department of Justice reciprocity.

2.Experience interpreting Wisconsin statutes, administrative codes, case law, and/or legal opinions
3.Public speaking experience
4.Experience conducting criminal investigations
5.Experience writing investigative reports
Well qualified applicants will also have a minimum of one of the following (in addition to the minimum qualifications):
1. Experience interpreting Wisconsin statutes, Administrative Codes, case law, or legal opinions related to one of the following: alcohol beverages, or video gambling
2.Experience coordinating work with other law enforcement agencies
3.Experience conducting criminal investigations of violations of one of the following: alcohol beverages, or video gambling
4.Experience writing investigative reports of violations of one of the following: alcohol beverages, or video gambling
5.Public speaking experience on law enforcement topics
6.Experience providing regulatory oversight of the alcohol beverage industry related to one or more of the following: premises inspections, audits, reviewing records and/or documents
